SOLD PENDING FUNDS. This is an original late 1700's 20 gauge English double barrel shotgun that originally had flint locks and was converted to percussion sometime in the early 1800's. The locks are marked warranted and the percussion bolsters are marked VALLEE III. The locks function correctly on half and full cock as do the double triggers. The overall length is 50 1/4" with 34" barrels and a trigger pull of 14". The weight is 7.6 lbs. The walnut stock has checkering and a small piece of wood missing from the heel of the butt. The furniture is brass and is engraved. The damascus barrels have dark bores with light to moderate pitting with good exteriors. The overall condition is good considering the age.
