This is a custom made Losey 50 Caliber flint mountain rifle with hand forged iron hardware.  The overall length is 58" with a 42" barrel and a 13 1/2" trigger pull.  The weight is 6.4 lbs.  The curly maple stock has a hand scraped finish and the iron hardware is hand forged. The lock is a Davis.  Both lock and set triggers function correctly.    The barrel is marked #82 and signed Losey.  The rifling is excellent.  This is a very nicely balanced, attractive rifle that would be a great shooter.  Steve Losey started building firearms in 1998 and has a website www.loseyfirearms.com.
