The Traditions "Deerhunter" percussion, muzzle loading rifle from Traditions is a basic lightweight hunting rifle at a budget price. The 24" octagonal barrel comes equipped with fiber optic sights and hooked breech for easy cleaning. Other features include hardwood stock, single trigger with oversize trigger guard, rubber butt plate and pre-mounted sling swivels. Drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Rifled 1 turn in 48", for round ball or slugs. 14-1/4" trigger pull, 40" overall length. Available in .50 cal. for deer and other large game. Takes .490 round ball and .015" thick patch or maxi ball. Nipple is threaded 6 x 1mm and takes a #11 percussion cap.

The Traditions "Deerhunter" KIT comes with the stock inlet for barrel, lock, trigger and hardware, will require minor fitting and shaping. Sanding stain and finish will be required.
