This is a preowned 54 caliber custom made English percussion sporting rifle made by G. Ford.  The overall length is 45 1/2" with a 30" octagon barrel and a 14" trigger pull.  The weight is 7 lbs.  The Green Mountain barrel has excellent rifling.  The walnut stock has numerous wire inlays in the wrist and butt stock.  The lock mechanics are good.  The exterior condition of the wood and metal is very good to excellent.  The tang has a small peep sight installed.  A nice light, big bore rifle for hunting.  Additional photos are available upon request.
