This is an original Jacob Kline 35 caliber Ohio half stock percussion rifle circa 1850-1880. Jacob Kline was located in Hancock and Crawford Counties in Ohio. The overall length is 50" with a 34" octagon barrel and a 13" trigger pull. The weight is 10 lbs. The lock is marked N. Ashmore and the barrel, J. Kline. The stock is walnut, with brass furniture and a poured pewter nose cap. The stock has been repaired in the area of the tang. The bore is dark with strong rifling. The backaction lock and set triggers function correctly. The overall condition is good. Additional photos are available upon request.
