Designed especially for muzzle-loading fireams. The solid bases are drilled, then the brass wire stem is inserted thru the base and assembled. This prevents the swab from pulling off the base and becoming lost in the barrel. Available in 10 sizes from .32 to .75 caliber 10 x 32 threads.
We have always found one handy for cleaning with a second for a generous application of oil.
