Lee round ball molds have tangential cut off which eliminates the objectionable nib at the sprue. The cavaties are made with a new process called "Hobbing". The blocks are rough machined to size with about .005 to .010 stock remaining. A tungsten carbide ball is then placed in the cavity and the blocks are squeezed in a 30-ton press to perfectly form the round cavity. The resulting cavity is far smoother and rounder than could be cut with a conventional cutter. All LEE molds come with handles and carry a two-year guarantee against defects in workmanship. If you are having a problem with a mold, return it to LEE for a replacement.
