DICKERT STOCK BLANKS

An influential gun maker of the Lancaster school, Dickert made guns for the continental Army and is credited by some authorities with giving direction to the development of the "Kentucky" rifle .

Dickert seems to have favored simple designs, but used both incised and relief carving. Overall length is 59", maximum pull 15", drop 3-1/4". Barrel channel is 42" long, lock mortice is 7" wide x 1-5/16" high, butt is 5" x 2".

Fully inlet Dickert Stock, 13/16" barrel channel, 3/8" ramrod groove. Right Hand. Available in Grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 Curly Maple

This stock is inlet for a large Siler lock (#43SL1 or 42SL3) or L&R Classic Lock (#43011, #43012 or #43014). Butt plate, trigger guard, nose cap and thimbles are not inlet, but we recomend butt plates # 482001, #482021 or #482033. Trigger guard #472001. End cap #52EC5A and thimbles #54QT17 & #54QT18. Stock is 59" overall length with 42" barrel channel. This rifle can also be made with steel hardware.
