This lock offers a quick time by virtue of friction reducing bearing surfaces on tumbler and sear, cam action and a shorter, powerful stroke. Also features a thick bolster area for proper stock profiling. Traditional hook type forged mainspring. One position sear action for easier trigger set up, highly polished internal surface. Plate measures 5-3/8" x 1" high and is interchangeable with the flint version lock plate. Though slightly larger overall, this lock is fully adaptable to a large Siler lock mortise. Right hand.
