from L & R. this "Classic" Germanic styled lock offers shooters and gun builders a high quality lock in an authentic style similar to those used by the great gunmakers throughout the colonies. This lock offers a quick time by virtue of friction reducing bearing surfaces on tumbler and sear, cam action and a shorter, powerful stroke. An inconspicuous roller on frizzen cam enhances frizzen action.  Also features a thick bolster area for proper stock profiling and a bridled frizzen. Traditional hook type forged mainspring. One position sear action for easier trigger set up, highly polished internal surface. Plate measures 5-3/8" x 1" high.  Though slightly larger overall, this lock is fully adaptable to a large Siler lock mortise. Left hand hand. No. 43021
