The special steel shanks on these jags are designed to provide the extra strength needed for use on small diameter steel rods. The narrow end of a steel rod provides no broad base of support, so brass shank jags break off easily. Threaded 8 x 32. Available in 6 sizes from .32 caliber to .58 caliber.
