Using primary source documentation the author gives a history of this once great and powerful Algonquian speaking Illinois Confederacy. Includes a synopsis of their history, language, appearance, culture, religious beliefs, and mythology, as well as how their interaction with the French permanently impacted their society.
    The second part is dedicated towards conducting an historically accurate portrayl of a non-nation specific woodland Indian.
